This proprietary tool highlighted areas lacking positive cultural contributors—a vital insight for cultural transformation.

Transitioning from the executive brief, Armada utilized additional tools—the executive boundary profile and needs gap analysis.

Boundaries and Needs

The boundary profile mapped key personal facets often overlooked by traditional metrics. It exposed lacking boundaries hindering the leader and their team(s), directing focus to problem areas.

The needs gap analysis identified where the leader's needs went unmet, laying the foundation for collaborative environments.

This approach shed light on unspoken team pain points.

Armada also equipped the client with two crucial skills: tension management at the leadership level in response to others' needs, and tension management at the group level—forming the basis for recognizing conflict as an opportunity for growth.

Because the needs gap analysis revealed communication issues, Armada also guided the executive client in implementing structured 1-1 meetings. Decoding others' modes of operation shifted the tone of these meetings, building trust within the team.

Simultaneously, by establishing communication and tension management foundations, the executive client demonstrated how to:

• Create a culture around healthy needs expression
• Teach team members to recognize, form, and communicate boundaries
• Integrate the concept that Conflict is a Call to Greatness

Encouraging the open expression of needs prevented blind spots in executive vision. Fostering boundaries created a supportive culture where needs are expressed confidently. And increased exposure to each other’s work activities shifted the team mindset from competition to collaboration.
